New customer – Glencore signs contract with m-risk

Today, Glencore plc is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and trader of more than 90 commodities.

They are the fundamental basis of our sustainability management system, GCP (Glencore Corporate Practice), along with our Code of Conduct and our Group policies.

Some of the main objectives of Glencore is to have a compliance are fully, thoroughly assess possible risks, make efficient use of resources, preserve protected areas and biodiversity. For this a system that also may have external verification is required.

To achieved these objectives, such as m-risk, we will support the management of environmental and sectoral commitments, automating the monitoring, verification and compliance with them.

Glencore selected the applications in order to comply with its Environmental Policy Group, which is in line with international environmental standards, including the ISO 14001 standard.
